About Us at Briar Hill Labradors
Here at Briar Hill Labradors we are a Bible believing, Christian family and first and foremost in our lives is to follow the teachings of Christ. After that it’s family and our Labradors. We own 7 acres in the beautiful countryside of Blair County, in south central Pennsylvania. My husband and I have been happily married since 2000 and have been blessed with 6 beautiful children, who all enjoy time spent playing and interacting with our Labs and puppies. I am a stay at home mom and my husband is the owner of a contracting company. We all love the joy Labradors bring into our lives, and we know you will too.
We have been breeding beautiful English Labradors since 2005. Our goal for our breeding program is to breed high quality, English Labradors from health cleared parents. We breed for calm temperaments, correct conformation with good bone, gorgeous blocky heads, deep chests, the lovely otter tail and lush coat. We test all our breeding stock for the following: OFA hips and elbows, EIC and PRA. We have also begun testing for D Locust (the dilute gene) and eye and heart certification through the OFA in some of our stock that is of breeding age. We breed true to the Labrador breed standards and do not cross breed or breed for silver or charcoal colors and are strongly opposed to breeding of any dilute colors or crossbreeding. We breed for blacks, chocolates, yellows and the deepest shades of yellow descriptively known as fox red. We are confident we can help you find your new puppy friend whether it shall be for hunting, showing, agility, therapy, or as a loving companion. Labradors are wonderful in so many different areas.
